Brass shiner.
Wanted to try different shining methods so I put them all in one. I have corn cob, walnut, and not stainless steel media but copper wire for media. The copper wire work well. I have other tumbling barrels I will try walnut and bb's. Here is a video of it.

Might end up putting some sort of fan for drying the wet media stuff.
Any comments and suggestions welcomed.
Thanks for look'in.

That's a pretty cool setup you've got there. Nice job on the rolling cleaner. I also love the homemade vibratory cleaner. How many cases can you effectively clean at a time in that?

My 50 Beowulf ar kept giving me scope shiners/eyebrow welts until I realized I had put the scope to far back when I remounted it. ;)

Get a $3 hair dryer at Goodwill (unless your still workin on that mullet and already have one). After a good rinsing to remove all of the soap lay out the brass on a towel, then lay the hair dryer at one end and roll or fold over the towel around the dryer and brass to form a "tunnel" the towel will act as an oven and dry the brass really good. I stop halfway and mix up the brass so as to heat it all evenly. It will be hot to the touch and every drop of water will evaporate. Brass is completely dry and stays shiny a long time.

:kidding: Just a bit of free advice; if you want to avoid shiners, stay out of the bars

I agree Olevern, no matter how decrepit or peaceful you are; if your fairly big some drunken sob will try
to better you before the end of your bar visit.
