This has been lying around my shop for 30 years and I have no idea of what it is, can some one help? I found Craftsman and the numbers 29P-28 made in USA on the side if that helps.
Picture is a little hard to see but it could be a rivet set for brake lining.

Just might be as it was in a box of stuff from a old mechanic that my dad got and he has been gone since '87.

there would have been a countersink drill bit in the box with it,and most likely some big headed 4 way splayed brass rivets or the shorter hollow point type that rolled over.
i just tossed out two boxes of brake linings that were the old "universal" type.
one box of long and one box of the short linings.

I have a lever operated one, it's a tool to set the offset on saw blades.

I go with the rivet setter for brake linings.
Really need a better picture, a close up. I just might be a saw blade offsetting tool.

Thanks! now I know what has been lying in that bin since ' 87. Now to find a use for it as It has none of the other stuff with it.

Kenjudo.....Very nice....and the origional package. I've seen a lot of the Handsets with handles but never one like that. Mystery solved for sure!

yes it is, you can see the angeled off set in the second pic.
