I'm looking to make up some moly lube. I'm thinking of beeswax and "Guard dog" moly paste or beeswax and a synthetic moly grease or mix the three together. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

MrNRA

Got to think of something to put here.

There are many lube recipes here, ( 6 pages ) .

Have you looked at any of these in this Stickey ?
Some simply add a heaping tablespoon of moly powder to the lube mixture.

The simplest I know of is the lube Glen Fryxell makes & uses almost exclusively.

Mixed 50/50 by weight: Lithium Moly wheel bearing grease and bees wax - Glen Fryxell

Hello, MrNRA. I add Anhyd. lanolin & B.W. to std. Lyman Super Moly to stiffen up a bit..once melted however..I must keep it stirred or moly tends to seperate..usually give one last good stir right before pouring into lubsizer reservoir.
