So it is mold time for me. Seeing as how I am casting for multiple 9mm's and sizing I need one that goes at least .358 to get 2 thousandths over my biggest barrel. I am looking for a 124 or so Gr round nose. Need a 6 cavity definitely since I need some good production. If someone could recommend one it would really help my process along.

Thank you

Rich

There aren't too many options, I'd look at a lee 358-125-RF 6 Cavity, unless NOE has something currently in production. Lyman has some good options, but if you are determined to get a 6 cavity instead of 4 cavity then Lyman and Saeco are out, and your options are limited.

And because I am forgetful I am looking at tumble lube and obviously no GC. The 358-125-RF 6 Cavity would be good except it is FP and not RN, have found those to feed much better in my guns.

Thank you

I use these for subs after I size them in the 450 sizer. to 356

I use the 120 grn TC 6 cavity also but it's 20 years old and falling apart. ]gonna try to rebuild it. if not it's back to lee for a refurb.

Even if you tumble lube I would suggest you size them.
I've found over the years a proper sized ( in round) boolit shoots MUCH better.

Gentleman at another sight reccomended http://www.midwayusa.com/product/658...2-ogive-radius. Now two questions, If it drops at .356 as it says, how can I get it to cast a bit larger? Lap it? Can I tumble lube this type of bullet? I do plan on sizing.

Thank you

I have had zero issues with this boolit feeding in several 9mm's
I seat it into the crimp groove. 1.04 0r 1.05 IIRC.

The LEE 125 gr RN is the only 9mm boolit that drops large enough to give good results. Mine drop at .358 on the parting line and just under on the short side. These boolits work well with traditional lube and size, as well as LEE push-through sizing and lubed with alox TL
