I called H&R and got a RA to get a very loose 25-06 barrel fixed, told them I wanted it to go to Ilion NY c/o Brian Johnson.
They sent me paper work to send it to Ahlmans in MN :(
No one home there this weekend to call them back. Any body familiar with Ahlmans, can they do this?
More importantly, can they do it correctly?

Never had Ahlman's do any warranty work but I stop by there anytime I'm in the area...usually a couple times a year. One of the best retail (gun)shops I've ever browsed with rack after rack of long guns and a very knowledgeable staff. Their shop - http://www.ahlmans.com/ - has been doing general repair and custom gunsmithing continually since the late '40s and is a warranty station for (8) different manufacturers.

I had Ahlmans do a trigger job for me because I could drive the gun there. Very satisfied, but have no experience with their warranty work.

I talked to Brian Johnson @ Ilion NY facility,
He said Ahlmans is just going to ship a loose barrel to him anyway,
so I sent it straight to Brian. Should be there Monday :)

My rifle got to Ilion NY on Friday, and it left today to come home with a brand new barrel.
How's that for great service?

MR Brown suit delivered the 25-06 just now.
Guess I'll have to mount the scope and see what it does
