Ive usd bb's for many years , try using 1 to 2 lbs, I would stay away from the Zinc coated BB's.
I would still probly be using them but a friend tried some SS jewelers mix with 5 different shapes , i consider them the best and also the most expensive $35.00 for 4 lb, but worth it ! , i also tried the SS pins and IMO there just too diffcult to use and to small they should be a little longer and thicker , i would rather use bb's then the pins

Question: Do you use the BB's in a vibe tumbler, or must you use the rotary tumbler like SSM?
Also, how can the BB's get in the primer pocket? or do they just get it pretty good enough?

I use them in a vibe tumbler but not for cleaning. I use them for impact plating molly on jacketed bullets.

Wouldn't rust be a problem?

Tim, I tried them but didn't see any real results after a few hours and gave up on them. Others might have had better luck with them.
