I stopped at sportsmans to pickup some more primers today, and they had starline brass, several bucks a hundred cheaper than remington or winchester.

Is starline at sportsmans a new thing, this is the first time I have seen it here?

Buy it if you need brass, it is best quality. JW

No, I saw Starline a Sportsman's Warehouse here in the Dallas area. (back when we still had a store in this area!) Man I really miss that store!

It probably is after you figure in the shipping. I used to work for "Sporty's" in Columbia, SC. They have tremendous buying power. When corporate places an order, it's for ALL the stores.

Last time I looked, orders of 500 pieces of one caliber had Free shipping.

As an aside; Brownells is now carrying Starline and it is substantially cheaper than the "big 2".

I generally always buy local over mail order, even if it costs a little more. They didn't have any left that I could use, but plenty of rem and win, and some magtech.

It been around a while. I think you and I go to the same Sportsmans. I got a bunch of 44 mag stuff there when it was on sale. I like the Starline so far.

Starline is all I buy any more. seems uniform. i've thrown away a few because of case mouth deformities. they seem to have ticker walls than w-w or rem. cases.
