I'm looking for a lighter plinking boolit for my 1894 Marlin lever. Hoping somebody has either tried this already (concerned about COAL/ nose length issues for feeding and accuracy) OR would trade me for a sample "as cast" (I'll post that request in S&S section)...

I use an RCBS 200 CM (cowboy mold) that I had Erik at hollowpointmold open up to cast a 433" boolit that I really like. Accuracy is better than I expected, but I like the way my Accurate 43-250K performs as well. I also like a lighter than "normal" boolit for plinking, etc.
I found that the my marlin likes .432" really well. I did have to lap the barrel though, it was rough I guess, because after I lapped it, the leading went away.
