Just starting to load for my Norinco NP58 and was wondering what a good powder would be to try. I picked up some Titegroup, and also have some W231.

Can't say anything about Titegroup BUT 231 or HP-38 is good for the .40 S&W. Personally I like CLAYS in my .40 S&W

WST, 3.7 was my old minor USPSA load.
Bullseye is always good, I use 4.2 gr.

Can't go wrong with bullseye or 231, but I also load the majority of mine with claydot. Tidtegroup should do very well also.

I'm working on getting my Ruger SR40 to like the Lee 175 TC. Running it sized .401 with White Label 2500 over 4.4 gr HP-38. Cronys around 850-890 fps with slight leading in front rifling. Wish they had a .402 sizer.

I just got a 40 and a .401 sizer from rcbs. I lapped the sizer to .4025 works great now, 0 leading.

+1, lapping or honing a sizer die is pretty easy to do

My USPSA load is Lee 175TC, water dropped WW, 3.5gr Titegroup, R-P brass, WSPM primer, 1.10 LOA, .418" crimp at edge of mouth.
This is used in my G23 with factory barrel. No leading.
