Is there a .257 cartridge based on the .223 case???????????

I HAVE JUST SOLD MY .257 JDJ IT WAS A VERY ACCURATE CARTRIDGE. I LOADED 8 GRAINS TITE GROUP BEHIND 75, 87, 90, AND 100 GRAIN SIERRA, HORNADY AND REMINGTON BULLETS. NOT TOO HOT, ACCURATE, AND FUN TO SHOOT. WAS EXPANDING NECKS ON .223 CASES MAKING EVENTUALLY 7 MM TCU CASES AND THE THOUGHT OCCURRED TO ME THAT WE SHOULD HAVE A .257/.223 CARTRIDGE. LOTS OF .223 BRASS AROUND AND .257 MAKES A HOLE A LITTLE BIGGER THAN .22. i DEARLY LOVE MY RIFLE AND CONTENDER WITH 7MM TCU. CAST MY OWN 120 GRAIN BULLETS WITH GAS CHECK AND IT IS INEXPENSIVE TO SHOOT. THE GAS CHECK AND SMALL RIFLE PRIMER ARE MOST EXPENSIVE PART OF THE CARTRIDGE. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SUCH A CARTRIDGE AS .257 OUT OF A .223 CASE???? THANKS

25 TCU
The TCU family includes 6mm, 6.5mm, and 7mm as well.

The 256 Winchester magnum is another fun one. 357 magnum necked down. Contender barrels are out there for the 256.

I was thinking the 25 Copperhead but that is based from a 222 Remington case . I suppose if ya had to have one using the .223 case you could think one up and have a reamer cut for it .

Load data shows a load for a 60gr bullet at over 3000fps! It would do that with paper patched boolits for sure.

And the 257 Kimber is off of the 222 Magnum case, so you have your choice: the 25 Copperhead off the small 222 case, the 25 TCU off the common 223 case or the 257 Kimber off the larger 222 Magnum case, but is there one based on the even larger 5.56x50mm European case? Maybe a 6.35x50?
