Please comment on the idea of making a set of sleeves to adapt SAECO sizing dies to a Star press. From what I gather, SAECO dies are 0.6875" x 1.300" (flange to start of threads). Makes sense that it would work to sleeve the top and bottom of a SAECO die to bring the diameter up to the 0.750" of a Star die. By not using a solid sleeve and using two, one at the top and one at the bottom, it would leave the lube channel that comes with the Star die. Length shouldn't matter as long as the die is aligned at the top and bottom and the lube port remains open. Use the SAECO retaining nut to hold the bottom sleeve in place against lube pressure and the top flange functions the same.

Thanks for the input!

You would have to have a one piece sleeve with holes in it. If it was two pieces what would prevent the top sleeve from sliding down and blocking the lube holes?
