active X and chat

seems the new chat room has an active x control my computer thinks it needs for entering the chat room but when i say ok download it my windows says no you cant because it doesnt have a publlisher. who can tell me how to give this active x the finger and get back into chat. thanks

What browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser. ActiveX should have nothing to do with the chatroom itself. Also what version of Java do you have installed?

i had to run a new java to get in after the changes.
i still can't get pop up's if i go in on a second tab.

Modify the ActiveX settings to allow non-cert scripts. Or use firefox.
