Hi all...Was able to acquire this ancient H&G Mold...has TWO different H&G bullets in the SAME mold blocks...its a two cavity mold with #50 wadcutter and # 51 HOLLOW POINT..!!!! The #51 is Philip Sharpe design for short cylinder 357's....and THIS mold is a RARE Original H&G HOLLOW POINT Mold..!!! The Hollow Point Pin is a home-made repair job...have to fix that..it came to me that way...The outside is a little rough but the inside cavities are sharp and clean...almost new...looks dirty inside since i didnt clean out the carbon from smoking this mold with a wooden match...the bullets shown are from this mold...casts at 143grains with Lyman #2 Alloy..Would like it better if the bullets were a little heavier..say 155-157 grains...these H&G molds are a joy to use..sharp well-filled out bullets and I can hold the weight variation to plus-minus 1 grain with a Lee bottom pour pot..!!!!!
