Scratch test

So ...if i cant scratch et i will use it for boolits but
Whats is minimum Bhn hardens assumed of alloy that i cant scratch
Anybody do some test maybe?

The problem with what your asking us is what your nail can or cannot scratch is different than what my nail can or cannot scratch. If your looking for a cheap way to determine hardness use pencils. I believe there is a sticky on this.

I am a big fan of the try-in-see method. Cast up 25 or so and load them and see if they work. If they fit they will work fine about 80% of the time.
