Hello DUKE NUKEM, yes WW is hard enough when water quenched!
Go for it, Brother!

Water dropped WW works great! I actually use WW with a little bit of linotype in it. BPI claims 6% antimony content in there "Super Buck"
Yep, use em all the time. Get yourself a nice stainless steel pail with lots of water and a towel at the bottom, just like any other boolits. If you are using a SharpShooter mold, run it as hot as you can stand and just drop the whole sprue/pellet piece in; the quenching makes a major difference in hardness, especially when you've got the lead going good and hot.

Just don't use the stick on WW's and you should have about 2.5% Sb.

I use HTWW and they work good. Better patterns than soft lead as they don't deform in the barrel so no need for buffer.
