I was able to buy 150 pounds of wheel weights (about 130+ after sorting out the iron and zinc), which meant I needed to get a burner and a pot in which to melt them. The el cheao camp stove that runs off little 16-oz bottles works until the temp drops in the garage (open) in the evening or a bit of wind comes through (even with a wind screen).
Looking through a number of posts, I found links to several burner units. Most seem to hover right around the 57,000 BTU mark, but at least they run off a standard (grill) propane tank.
Do these look like they'll do the job? (I only do 30-40 pounds at a time.)
Thank you,
Richard
