Has anyone tried this powder? It looks promising in certain loads, does anyone have a load with this for 45 colt using Mihas 270gr boolit?

It's slower than 296 and will take a long barrel to get the most out of it.

Short barrel you get a fireball.

A friend was shooting 357 loads out of a 6 in. barrel and the flash was lighting up the bench, in daylight.

I have used it in the 45colt with 340gr bullets following the data that Brian Pearce posted in american handgunner but I forgot what issue. But he posted it for a cast performance .335grwfln starting at I believe 21 and going up to 25gr. I had excellent accuracy but 25gr was very stout load. I would put the burn rate close to that of 4227. For the heavies I think it worked well I have not tried in a lighter weight bullet

I like it in my .44 mag blakhawg with 10" barrel.
