9mm upper

I picked up a dreadnaught industries 9mm conversion kit for my wifes ar. i am impressed. it really is a drop in kit. i was firing 9mm in about 10 minutes.

I tried some lead round nose in it and so far is doing fine. Is there any advice you have about lead in a ar?

I believe the 9mm AR uppers are blow-back so no issues, not that DI AR's have any issues with lead.

thanks moonie. it is eating the lead with no problems. i need to ramp up the reloading!

I have an oly (Olympic) arms upper, lead is also just fine, blow back operation. Fun to shoot.
