I bought the Mihec groupbuy 180 gr 357 bullet a few months ago. Played with it some but I still don't have the temp down right and bullets are a bit frosty. Looking forward to cooler weather to experiment more. I am new to casting and found that summer time casting is no fun.

Anyway, I am looking for loaddata for this boolit in 357 mag using Unique powder. I would also like to be able to load these in 38 special cases again using Unique. Anybody got any data like that?

Thanks,
HH

I've been using 5 grains of unique, lubed with 50/50 in .38 special cases. Running 1050 in a Ruger 77/357 and real accurate. Took the combo PD hunting, worked very well to 125 yards. I dropped a badger at 75 yards instantly. Very satisfied so far. If time isn't a factor I'm planning on loading it up in mag cases and take it deer hunting next week.

15.6 grains of Lil'Gun works great in my Rossi M92, 20". I tagged a water filled milk jug at 200 yds with open sites a couple of weekends ago with that gun/bullet/load. The bullet had enough energy left to tear the jug in 2, not just poke a hole in it.

The gun, the bullet and this load will be my morning to mid afternoon hunting partner this season. Most shots are 50 yds or less, so I have high hopes.

Oh, and the same bullet/load works good in my Ruger GP-100, 6", too.

Any 357 magnum loads in Unique? I know it will not be as fast as 2400 or Lil'Gun. But I have a lot of it and like to run lighter loads thru my SP101.

Thanks,
HH
