I received an SSK 4 cavity 311 429 mould today. I already had a 310 429. The moulds are completely different.
Top to bottom, the 4 cavity features a top band, 2 crimping grooves, a wide band, one wide grease groove then a wide base band.
My 2 cavity has a top band, 1 crimping groove, 3 narrow grease grooves alternating with 3 narrow driving bands and then a slightly wider base band.
Does anybody know which came first and why the change?
Does anyone know if the configuration of the 4 cavity is stock, or has it been modified?
