I have a Thompson Encore in 223 with a 1 in 12 twist &24 in barrel I want to shoot cast bullets perfer accurat 5744 powder have all lyman molds in 22 cal need feedback and help with this

225107 is good, mine is a NOE and 1 cav. is HP, if at first you don't succeed, try again as the .22s are prolly the hardest cast bullet cals. to get to shoot close to j-word bullets.

the 1-12 Savage rifles in 22-250 like the 55g to 65g bullets.The NOE Eagan 62g copy is from my sample and has shot the best of all of my 22 molds in -12 twists.The RCBS 55 sp had done well also the 225415 int' bad.

start bout 12 grs of the 5744 and work from there.
