Well , I finally found a decent 1903A3 with a new 2 groove barrel ,Now to find a good boolit for it and for use in my 7.5 Swiss . I was looking through my midway catalog for a good heavy 30 cal boolit for it .I was thinking of the 314299 So I could use it in my 54R also but dont know if it would take well to being squeezed down for the 30 cal. rifles. I was also looking at the Lee 309-200 but read in the reviews it seems to drop at only 185 grs. and I already have a 312-185 So thats out I guess. I just dont know enough about all these molds to know which is a proven proformer accuracy wise, So I'm asking those who know more than I, which one should I get . The finance dictator er uhh I mean director said I could get a good mold this time instead of the of the 14.00 lee 1 hole model I usually get:neutral: and these opportunities dont come along very often lately, So I want to get a good bullet mold while I can. So what say you all.

That 03A3 will be delighted with a Lyman 311284 mould, sized @ .310, behind 16 g. of 2400 or the real hard to find Ohaus 30-190S. This info was passed down to me sometime back and produces 1" moa @ 100 yds.

This 1" stuff is not from me but from my sons younger nerves and eyes. also "45nut", owner of this site, will attest to the above using my 03, and my boolits at NCBS 2006 to win the 100yd. group event. BTW, He now owns the Rifle:Fire:

Shooter,

Send me a PM if you want to try some 311284's. I just got the mold a couple weeks ago. I don't know how well they will work with the Swiss (assuming it's a K-31) with the rifle's short throat.

I shot my first batch of 311284's out of an 03-A3 two groove today and they shot well.

I really like the Lyman 311413 in my K-31. It has a short nose which seems to work well with the rifle. These shoot well in an 03-A3 also.

RU, my reccomendation would be buy the 314299 and never look back. I use it sized .314" for .303 British, .312" in the 7.65 Argentine, and.310" in the .30/06 and .30/40 Krag. All shoot very accurately, and the .30/06 and 7.65 Argentine are downright scary.
