I bought the mold to use as a lightweight plinking boolit for 38 Spl. But I's like to try it in 9mm.

To those of you that have used the Lee 358-125-RF in 9mm I have a couple questions:

How deep do you seat it? It seems that the ogive is right where i'd want to crimp it but I'd rather not risk taper crimping into the ogive and messing with the headspacing on the rim.

Do you size to .357 or .358?

Load data? I use a lot of bullseye since I mostly shoot 38 Spl and 45 ACP, so if you have a pet load with bullseye that would be great, but I am of course open to other powders. Personally I have had a lot of luck with HP38 in 9mm.

As always, any advice is welcome, but I would really like to hear from someone who is currently using this boolit in a 9mm load.

i don't use that one i use a different [38/357] 125 in my 9's.
i do recommend that one however to many looking for a 9m boolit.
you'll be seating short with it to get it to feed.
358 is what you'll size to in most cases.
cut your load down as you seat deeper.
forget about the crimp groove and just taper crimp like normal.

I don't use the 125 gn. but I do use the Lee 124 grain TL design in my 9mm. I use 4 grains of Bullseye in the 9mm with good success. BC
