Does anyone have any experience with this cast bullet? Specifically looking for Ruger Mini 14 experience, but any info would be welcomed.

Okay, I will start it off.

I started out with 18 grains of H4198. Shows some promise. Only shot a few times. It's deer season, so I should not have been shooting at all here at the ranch house. Will try a more detailed trial run this weekend at the range, hopefully.

H4198 update.

Started at 16 grains during more thorough test. 16.5 grains seems best. Bullets were 50/50 co/so ww's water quenched. Will try 60/40 wq next. Trying to keep the bullet somewhat soft.

Sub 2" at 50 yards on sand bags and my natural wiggle :-)
