Spent the day melting down my last score of WW. took most of the day, but I dont move too fast.
Here's what I got
The lead in the next 3 photos is 3 separate piles (all one now:) )

Then, the new score of the day, a few ingots of supposed linotype, a can full of boolits cast of the same as the ingots, and 3 rolls of 50/50 solder
the ingots ring like a bell when dropped and they are hard for sure

AND!
17 pounds of nice clean bees wax-

kind of a let down, the "lino" tested at 12.5 with the Lee tool,
Now I don't know which to believe the high pitch ring or the Lee tester

I loaded some Swedish Norma 180 grain(311) ,303 British loads for a friend of my Father's that could not find 180s in the store,( he wanted some stout Bear loads for his converted SMLE) he had his crew melt down an old Rita cable into one of his wife's muffin tins. She got a new Muffin tin,he got his Bear loads and I got some great lead pills that fit into my Lee melter.
This stuff is almost pure lead and is great for my mini and maxi Ball casting. It was delivered in ammo cans, very heavy ammo cans. I still use it and smile every time the bullets drop out of a mold!!
