I would say its an older one, but how old?
40's?
Notice the Font and the location of the Star Machine Works and the Patent NO.
Notice the where the connecting link connects to. It is all slopped out. It must be made from something soft.
And the Knurl on the presure screw handle.
The base is not machined flat only appears to have been belt sanded semi-flat.
