I found an older Stevens Single Shot 20GA. at a garage sale. I am trying to find out the model number for this shot gun. In a appearance it looks like the old Savage 219 or 220. But no model number have I found and it is marked Stevens. The marking on top of the shot gun barrel is: Electro Steel Choke Bored. I have pictures of most of the action. Is this action compatible with the old Savage 22 Hornet and/or 33 Barrels? Also how is this barrel released from the action?
Thanks in advance for your help

It might not be a Savage 219/220, which action has a rebate or squared scallop in the rear edge of the action body (below).

IMO, Even though the rear edge of your action appears more at a 90-degree angle, it still looks more like a pre-Model 220 J.Stevens Single Shot (below) than a 219/220, in which case the later barrels would most likely not easily fit.
