you gentlemen have any opinion or experience with these? I horse traded into one Saturday at the Gun Show in Boise. It was well blued, no stripper clip or thumb charger cuts, spoon handle, and the side swing bottom lever on the floor plate to open the box.
SN:3XX.

It is going to be a beautiful early Mauser Guild Rifle in 257 Roberts for my light up to Elk sized game rifle, and for smaller plains game in Africa.

Question II: are the cartridge traps bottom only, or have some been done with it on the top?

thanks,

Rich

Is it the Mark X?? They are usually a very good rifle. Is it the long action 98 or the intermediate length 98? There are many options for the long or standard length action over the intermediate length one.

There start to produce this model in 1948 year for Yugoslavian Army. I know for models that fired over 50 000 rounds....and know the guys in my shooting club that make 2 inch groups at 220 yards with 60 yeasr old rifles, this model and military sniper ammo...
i very respect this rifle...also used in last war at Balkan..
