does ant one have ant exp. with phone co solder bars? it looks like reg solder 1 lb. bars like 50/50 , or 60/40 , but the only no. on them is #507138 national lead co. can ant one tell me what this is? i have a chance to buy 30 sticks but have not saw it in person. since they used soft lead shelds around joints, this is what they may have used to solder them together.

If it's used to solder lead joints, I'm gonna guess it's 50/50. It could be 60/40, but even if it is, it's useable for what we do. I'm assuming you would want it for it's tin content and use it to sweeten your alloy. I would jump on it if the price is right.

WHAT IS 50/50 bars going for? I think i have seen $3-5 a lb. i know new it is much higher.
