Anybody got any load data for this beast, I don't mind working up loads, just looking for a place to start? If anyone has a pet load for it. I'd like to drop it down a bit & work back up of course...

This mold first came out in mid 2009 as a two cavity . I got one of those and used the 295 HP to kill a deer or two . The load that worked for me in my 444 was 50 grains of H322 primed with a CCI200 . And no I didn't run it over the Chrony .

I made up a bunch of these over the weekend. The mold is a joy to use and makes a pile of boolits in a big hurry. Made mine in hollow point config with AC 50/50 wheel weights/pure with a little tin added. The mold like to run hot, but it doesn't talk long to get in a good rhythm. I found that things worked great with my pot at 725 degrees or so. Boolits came out a little frosty and well formed.

I'm planning to use these in my suppressed Ruger 77/44 at subsonic velocities. Should make a great hog load.

Now to get them checked/sized/lubed with carnauba red and loaded!

A little eye candy... Just playing with my sizer not the final product...

I'm still early in the game. Have been working 24x7 for the last 2 months and haven't had much time to work on it yet.

Will be watching here and will share my results when I get them.

FWIW I did manage to size and lube the batch I made. Also weighed a bunch. Overall very consistent weights. These will be gc and lubed with carnauba red.

Mark85304: The illustration that I see shows a 4-cavity mould. Am I looking at the correct illustration? I'd love to have one in a single-cavity mould. Any chance of that, MiHec?

Finally got out to shoot my first batches. Had some promising results, but most of the loads were much slower than I had expected (800fps or so). Will be back to the loading bench to push them a little faster for the next batch.

Juddy, I'm sure after reading all the posts that he is up to his neck in work. I sent him a PM last week and have not
got a reply. This happens when you turn out good work. A close friend of mine has the same problem ........But not cutting molds. Been years and he still is not caught up.
