:(
My old winchester model 94 chambers the bear creek bullet just fine, but just received a shipemont from Moyer's,and it looks like the shape/ogive 'just' keeps the round from chambering.
the rim of the case 'just' hangs up on the feed rails, lodging the bullet partially into the chamber.
should I mod the feed rails,or is this just not a good idea for some reason.? I won't do it until i've single-loaded and shot the ones I've loaded,to see how they like Trail Boss, but i'd sure like to lever them in,not spoon-feed them in.

I am right at 2.510 oal,per book, and if I go deeper ,i'll lose the crimp groove.
tomorrow I think I can find one of the bear creek bullets out in the shed,to do some measurements/comparing. It just seems that the problem would/could be caused by the bullet being short and fat as opposed to long and skinny..so to speak.

anyone have a chambering problem with a certain bullet in an old..1920's era...winchester?
thanks !
