Anyone familier with Welco #5 solder, company is defunct and I haven't found any info on line, looks to be a silver bearing solder has a frosty look, fairly high temp, would aprechate any help. Thanks, machanic

No, they aren't defunct but part of Harris.

You may need to call them to get the skinny on what you have. Sure that is #5 or the designation for 5 pounds?

Well I got off my butt :popcorn:and went to my file of old welding catalogs and I still had a Welco cat. circa 1977 #5 is 94% tin 6% silver, high strenght food grade solder, ought to make good werewolf boolits.
