I was hoping to get some feedback on this boolit. I found out Mihec had 1 in stock, so I quickly ordered it. I searched the web and found mixed reviews about this mold. From what I gather, seems like people were not running the mold hot enough. My other mihec mold cast so well, I feel like I will be able to make it work. The main thing I am wondering about, is the performance of this boolit and what loads have been the best. I was thinking of the Gear load of 9.3 unique and maybe 2400? It is supposed to cast at 271 gr solid and 249gr hp. There does not seem to be much published data for these weights. I will be using aluminum gas checks and carnuba red. I would really appreciate you guys sharing your experiences and suggestions with this boolit. These will be fired through a Henry Big Boy lever, 7.5" Blackhawk, and a H & R single shot

20 grains of 296 works in all of my 44s with this boolit. Flat nose or hollow point. I shoot it in TC-44 2 marlin lever 44s, taurus m-44 smith 629 and old vaquero 44. It kills deer with either the flat nose or hollow point. I like the flat nose best. Make them out of 50-50 soft lead and w.w. I have shot these out of a muzzle loader with sabots made for a 430 diameter bullet. They shoot quite well out of the front stuffer too.
