Muzzleloader Opening Day

We're setting out for opening day shortly.

My wife's first deer hunt.

300 gr WFN cast in sabots in 50 cal over 100gr of 777.

We're sighted, cars loaded, it's cool outside and the deer are moving.

Best of luck to you and the Mrs. Our muzzle loading season in Arkansas was last week and was a bust. Temps in the mid 80's. Just too hot to hunt IMO.

The wife and I didn't see anything. My uncle 400 yards up the ridge shot and missed high. :(
