I spent a most enjoyable day up in the mountains today working up loads for a variety of guns. Pertinent to this thread is the fact that I was very pleased to find a load for my Husqvarna 9.3x57 that shot the NEI 366-304-GC (#175, which weighs closer to 315 grains when cast with WW alloy) very accurately. They were sized .368" and lubed with homemade moly lube, loaded over 39.0 grains of IMR 4895 for 1780 fps. Good stuff!

Glen, your husky wouldn't be one of the ones sarco used to sell??. I have one sitting in the safe waiting for a mold. How big does the nei mold cast before sizing and what size gas checks are you using?. Frank
This is a 1943 vintage Husky, based on the '96 Mauser action. I bought it through Allan's Armory. This NEI mould drops bullets at about .369" using an alloy that is a little bit harder than WW. I am using Hornady .375 GCs and sizing them .368".
