I set up my chrony, and shot my 35 Rem contender super 14 through it.

I used 10 gr Unique and 200 gr plain base lead flat point.

I was surprised to get 1267 fps out of it!

Accurate to boot and almost no real recoil to speak of!

Anybody else shoot 35 Rem contender or other with 200 gr bullets?

I have shot the RCBS 35-200-FN from a Marlin 336 with 9.5 gr Unique (1265 fps) and 11.5 gr (1415 fps). Both of these loads are accurate at 50 yds. I get a little over an inch groups with iron sights. I haven't shot them at 100 yds yet.
