Plus Metal Group Buy

I have been working on this one for some time and finally have it all together.

This buy is for an alloy of:

47% Antimony (Sb)
37% Lead (Pb)
18% Tin (Sn)
with a trace amount of Arsenic


This metal is an enrichment alloy - to be added to base metal.

1 part of this into 10 parts lead makes WW Alloy
1 part of this into 10 parts WW makes Taracorp Magnum
1 part of this into 10 Parts Magnum makes Linotype


This alloy will be sold in 10 pound lots at $4.00 a lbs.

Shipping will be a flat $10 for up to 30 lbs per box.

I am adding this buy on the GB System. Remember orders are in lots of 10 lbs only so to purchase twenty pounds you would place an order for 2 lots. I will not sell 1 or 2 lbs its just not feasable. This buy is MO, checks to be cashed on arrival, or Paypal only since I have had a few check issues.

Paypal - add $5 to the total order to cover Paypal fees.

I will run this buy for up to 500 lbs.

Correct I was refering to the Taracorp Magnum Alloy
so 10 parts WW + 2 parts Alloy = Lino composition

5lbs bricks and at current rate of speed I'd say you're safe for a day or so. I can probably get more but am a little concerned that if this draws out too long that metal prices may change and my supplier may raise the cost.

Yes - used 1:1 with Lead it produces an alloy very close to Foundry type. Monotype and stereotype both fall between Foundry and Lino in hardness (and Antimony content). Remember also that this alloy does have Arsenic, an element not found in linotype, thus this alloy will heat-treat harden as well.
