My 586 has the standard rubber grips that are way to small for my hands,I'd like a set of wood grips and in a bigger size.Who on here has bigger hands that can recommend a good set of wood grips. Thanks Pat

The old factory wood target grips fill my hand real well. they came on my 686 when I bought it back in 84.
Also modified a set of newer N frame grip with the finger grooves, they work real good.

Agreed. The factory wood target grips are pretty big.

Round or square butt? The factory still has square butt grips available. Ahrends sells a similar grip ("Retro") for both round and square.

Hogue makes a similar grip with or without the checkering. If ou want to see what the factory grips look like, Google "S&W tartet grips" and you should get lots of pics. or check fleIfabay.
If you want some let me know, I think I have 3 or 4 new sets.
