View Full Version : Shooting my Henry 357

My wife gave it to me a Henry lever gun in 357. She had bought it several years ago and never liked it too heavy for her taste.

I bet it has not had 50 rounds through it. Has the brass receiver.

I was shooting it a couple of days ago using some plinkers with my 105 grain Lee SWC and 8 grains of Promo. Was hitting my 6" gong with every shot at 7o yards.

The sights are rather crude with the rear being not much more than a piece of spring steel that you can step up.

I am hoping to break it in.
