:-P Just ordered a new four cavity brass 360477 mould from NOE.
they have several in stock. I cant wait to try this one out. I've heard 5 grains of unique with this boolit in a .38 case is a good load to try.
this boolit will be shot out of several guns.
marlin 1894
taurus tracker
GP100
smith 14-2
it will be nice having another 4 banger in the shop. so much easier to make a pile of boolits in short order!
mold should be here by Wend. at the latest!
anyone have any pet loads with this classic Lyman design they would like to share?
ill get pics up of the mold when it comes in.

I have this mold also and love it. Try casting with dropping into cold water, excellent bullet for hunting.

A good friend of mine tested this bullet for me with his S&W 686, water quenched, on top of a charge of Power Pistol. First shot easily penetrated 4 full water filled 1 gl milk containers and found pieces in the 5th. The bullet fragmented into about 5-6 pieces. Range was from about 25-30 yards. (Okay, so it wasn't text book testing, good representation though........lol!)

I can only imagine what one could do with these going through a 357 Marlin.

None the less, I enjoy shooting these through my J-frame and Ruger Sp-101.

Enjoy... just remember to pre-heat brass moulds on a hot plate... It takes a lot to keep it in the zone...
