Shotgun Poly Choke Removal

Is there any way to remove a Poly Choke from the barrel short of cutting it off.

need to heat it. most are silver solder. put wet rag about 1/2in back and propane torch. but when it pulls do a fast wipe with a dry rag. and let cool , not with the wet rag
Take all the guts out first

Any plans for the Poly Choke when you get rid of it? I'd be interested..
