i have a neighbor that lost her dad at age 89 she has asked me to help sell a few of her dads guns. One is a remington 03a3 .Pristine orignal condition I have seen on auction websigts 650 to 1200 dollars. what is a realistic price. second is an action arms import semi auto uzi with 1 mag 9mm sawone of those at 1500 reserved not met with a buy now for 2500. any ideas on what to tell her.

Go to the CMP website, then Sales, the forum and post a couple pictures so the guys there can tell you exactly what the 03a3 is.

That said I have 2 I bought from the CMP, a Remington and a Smith Corona worth around $600 each.

Keep watching those auctions until the item is sold or relisted. That will give you a much better idea. I consider $650.00 to be a low end price for a pristine original condition 1903A3 these days and I have collected two, a pristine Smith Corona and an excellent Remington. You need to check the small parts on the gun and marks to see if it has been rebuilt in an arsenal. If it is pristine and has not been rebuilt, the value is much higher. If is is a rebuild and has not been altered from it's rebuilt state, the value is very good.

Who made the Uzi? If it was made by IMI of Israel and imported by Action Arms, it's value is much higher.

Uzi is what you said made in Israel 9mm 3o round mag I beleive. Will be going back later this week to take pictures.

If the Uzi is IMI made and if it was made in Israel, it has significant value. Those guns are no longer imported. Check gunbroker and monitor auctions to find a current value for on in excellent condition.
