Looking for your pet load for 375 H&H with a 300 gr. GC. I'm looking to get a good all around hunting load in the 1900 - 2200 fps range. I'm currently using 36 gr. 5744 but I don't have a chronograph. Any ideas?

I would have to check records to be sure but memory is telling me that with 320 to 350gn boolits I was getting about 2000 fps with about a 100% dencity of H4831.
Remind me tomorrow to look.

These are loads that I use in my Number 1 Ruger. Weights are heavier that you want but give you some idea of a place to start. These are safe in my rifle and show no pressure signs but use at your own risk.

A case full of IMR7383 does what you want as well. Very accurate and low pressure.

310gr BRP over 38.5gr 4759. Groups about 1.25" @100yds and scoots along at 2K
