Got a question. I have two mold handles that I bought from Midway or Graf. They look identical except one which I know is Lyman fits Saeco, Lyman, and Lachmiller 2 & 4 hole. The other set when closed all the way will not quite close the molds. The wood handles touch and the molds are still 10 to 20 thousandths from closing. They were bought at the same time and I never tried them till today. Anyone know what type these handles might be for? Thanks, Rod

The last, and I mean last pair of Lyman handles I bought did exactly what you describe. I ground off the inner side of the handle ends so that the mould would close and resolved to buy RCBS, or Red River handles here after. After grinding, the handles work ok.

The newer Lyman handles are made in China. I have a pair that are cast so crudely it makes them look like junk. Will purchase RCBS or Saeco handles in the future. If you need a good pair of Lyman handles look for the used older ones. They are well worth the money.
