I had gotten back into another hobby I had some 25 years ago(restoring old 1920's tube radios) and hadn't cast in awhile. I started back last week and knocked out about 300 of the excellent #651 from BallistiCast and can say this is one superb boolit. The Model 15-3 shot it well. In fact, better than other weight bullets I and molds I have.
I loaded about 50 with 5 gr of Unique and headed for the range last Friday and the groups were nothing short of superb(for me) I had several 112 shot groups that measured 1/2-3/4" c-c at ten yards and a couple of the targets had a splotch or two on them from the BAC lube I used so; I know it was staying in the barrel. No barrel leading and just minor leading in the cylinder mouth for about 1/8" in but not so bad a little Chore Boy couldn't get out.
Most happy with this mold's performance and the boolit produced even though I bitched about it taking so long to get it.:smile:
