Just tried some BAC for my 9mm boolits and I liked the fact that it is a little harder than the Darr lube I had used with my last batch. I used it as pan lube and despite the fact that I messed up and had more lube on them than I wanted to, it didn't gunk up the reloading dies like the Darr lube. If this shoots good I think I will go with BAC and forget making my own lube.

Be able to make your own lube is good but if you are in a part of the world where there are many sources of cheap lube then why bother? BAC is good stuff and I have used it with great success in 9mmP.

Currently I use TAC#1 that member Randy Rat sells. Works well in my Star sizers as well as with pan lubing. He sells bulk lube for pan lubing which is cheaper than when buying sticks. Here is a pan that I did last night. Lube is still hot and not ready to cut.48734

Here are some of the boolits and own made kake kutter.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/10/17/9e4yjete.jpg

Nice and I like that cutter. I wish I was that skilled with access to equipment to make something like that.

I like this BAC for loading it doesn't gunk up the dies and stays in the lube groove. Worked well for 9mm in the barrel too- no leading. its my new goto lube for 9mm will try it on other applications too. Joe

I use BAC for 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, 380 ACP, 38 Spec., (works great) but my go-to lube is one that it seems is not mentioned often, 2500 Plus (White Label, also). It works like BAC but is a touch harder, so at least for me, less sticky, yet needs no heat, unless it's 15 degrees out! Virtually no leading in my wife's 40 S&W with Lee 175 TC at @875 - 900 or so FPS. These boolits drop from mold at @183 grs., so are pretty soft. I was happily surprised. Really like that 2500 Plus.

BTW, I have no affiliation with White Label Co.

Jhttp://DSCN0066.JPGal5, The Kate Cutter shown is not made but is the original type of cutter supplied with the first lube kits that were made by Lee. They contained a stick of 50/50 lube, a cutter and a small pan that was ashtray in size.
If you want a nice cutter and pan lube then contact Buckshot. His are longer and much better as they are made from steel with knurling not from aluminum as the small Lee types.http://castboolits.gunloads.com/imagehosting/thum_59204ef5da29bdbec.jpg (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=3104)

Epoxy a fired, unsized 9mm case into a piece of scrap pipe or PVC tubing.
