Earlier this year I traded a fellow member for a Lyman 358480 ( thanks again)
to try in my Martini rook rifle. The 135 gr boolits cast at .360 and keyholed badly(no real surprise as the bore is about .364 as I measure) so, I followed the directions as read here and the resulting slugs mike .363.. this must be close enough as they group well at 25 yd . More testing is necessary but this is a definitive improvement over past shooting . Even 148 gr HBWC showed signs of tipping, though they did not keyhole. It's good to make some progress and not be tied to a factory boolit. Boolits were shot as cast, smeared with FWFL, and loaded into unsized 38 long colt cases.
