I was just given a Ohaus model 314 powder scale (gn). Anyone have a manual or instruction sheet for this scale? Appreciate any help?
Thanks
Buddy

If it's the one I think it is, then it's a triple beam and good to 1110 grains. If its in decent shape, whoever gave it to you likes you very much. Wonderful scale. Very straight forward to use.

I have a OHAUS 3110 that is a real keeper.

Don't know where to pick up a manual on it; watch ebay.

Buddy,
I have the "Directions For Use And Mainenance including parts list" for the model 314 and model 315.

I will take a couple pictures of the paper and PM them to you tomorrow night. Not much detail to the instructions, but it is what came with them. I have both models, and probably can give you some pointers if you need.

NICE gift by the way:awesome:

smokeywolf: Yes, it is the triple beam good to 1110 grains-in excellent condition and easy to zero.
oldscool: Thanks in advance. Appreciate the opportunity to hit you back with any questions.

It is a neat scale and a great addition to my bench.

Always happy to help, but oldscool has me trumped on expertise and hands-on experience.

PM sent...

I purchased my nearly 30 years ago and it is one of the best additions to my reloading equipment that I own...

I think they were too expensive and handloaders just never wanted to spend that much money, or at least during those times...

Good-luck...BCB

I guess the pdf files arrived...

Did your scales come with the gray cover?...

I still use mine, but it is tattered and the seams are tearing...

I sure wish I could find another cover for it...

I contacted RCBS and that said that was long gone--I expected it was...

Good-luck...BCB
