Didn't want to put this in the for sale section as not sure if will be for sale.
I have a large quantity of milsurp .308 brass , some 50 years old, that I am thinking of selling.
It has all been cleaned ,trimmed and flash holes uniformed, and primer pockets reamed to remove crimp.
Is there a market for it here?
Would anyone buy it or is it scrapper material?
If sold what would be a reasonable asking price?

I usually sell for $0.08 a round. Shipping is on the buyer. It will sell no problem. Or take it to the scrap yard. Local yard here is giving $2/LB.

How many?
What year?
Which arsenal?

8 cents would be an excellent price. Most of the online places are asking 16 cents for once fired with no prep work other than polish. There is definitely a market here if the price is fair. It would be a shame to scrap nice brass.

By your saying you have a large quantity for possible sale, roughly how many would we be talking about? I would be interested in 2 or 300 if they were for sale.Robert

I might buy some myself when you decide upon a price. I'll stay tuned to find out the decision.

It depends on HS to me. I sell LC LR HS same year brass locally for $85 per 500 with no prep done what so ever. That is why I sell it so cheap.
If I were to put the prep in it would go for $125 per 500 pieces.

Fair would be around 16 cents a piece with all the work you have put in.
