I now have my first brass mold, and it is a Mihec 452-200 4 cavity with all the pins. My wife bought it for me as a "welcome home" present. Now this is not the first Mihec mold I have used, just the first I have owned. A friend of mine let me use his 380 mold and I fell in love with it.
Have you ever had a mold that you love to cast with because it works so damn well? Not because it is the most accurate etc, but you keep using JUST because it works so well. I have not shot any of the boolits from this thing but if it does OK, I will keep using it JUST because it works SO WELL! It took about 1/4 of my Lee 20lb pot to figure it out, but right at 800* with straight WW's and LOTS of bullplate on the pin guides it seemed to just throw boolits off the pins. What a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. You can tell Miha has done his homework.
